Benjamin Szeto leads Savoir LLC, a bespoke law practice specialising in solutions, strategy and structures for a select clientele.
Benjamin holds a Diploma in International Trust Management (Distinction) from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the worldwide association for professionals in asset protection, family inheritance and succession planning. He has been conferred a Master of Science (Real Estate) from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Financial Management from the ACCA. He was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law and to the Singapore Bar after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Birmingham.
In a career of 20 years, Benjamin has advised high net worth clients, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, listed entities and Fortune 500 corporations on a wide range of matters. He has successfully led numerous transactions, including acquisitions and divestments, spanning diverse jurisdictions. Clients tap his expertise to set up asset protection solutions, as well as seek his advice on real estate and investments to grow and structure their portfolios. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner of STEP.
Benjamin has a keen interest in the areas of governance and oversight. He presently serves on the Council and Audit Committee of Nature Society (Singapore), a charity with IPC status. He further sits as board and committee member of and volunteers with various organisations, including Agape Village, Catholic Business Network, WDA Toastmasters Club and Mensa Singapore.
Benjamin has appeared on and been quoted in BBC News, The Straits Times and ChannelNews Asia, among others. In his free time, Benjamin participates in endurance ports and is your clear candidate for the most arduous of appointments.He has completed numerous marathons and is a Ironman Finisher.
